June 2017 Pacific Newsletter
Welcome to the first monthly newsletter for Pacific Irish Dance!
Trying to keep everybody on the same page with what is going on in the school can sometimes be tricky and we know email overload means certain things can often be overlooked. Each month we will compile a newsletter with an overview of everything that is going on for the month ahead.
Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see in these newsletters and we will try to include these for you.

The Pacific Belt
A huge thank you to every single one of you for your help in making the 2017 Pacific Belt successful. We have been overwhelmed with great feedback from the community and we really couldn’t make it happen without the support and dedication from the Pacific Irish Dance parents, friends and dancers.
Also, a big congratulations to all of the dancers that competed! The school had some fantastic results and you all did a wonderful job carrying the Pacific flag for the first time.
We can always learn from the experience to help make future years even better. If you have any ideas or feedback from the event from this year, please do not hesitate to let us know by email. We will put this as an agenda item to review at a PPFA meeting later in the month.
AIO
Good luck to all of the competitors travelling to the Gold Coast for the AIO over the first weekend of June! Charmayne and Jared will be at the event for all 3 days.
An Information sheet for Parents and Dancers attending the event is available here. Please review this information and let us know if you have any questions.
Competition Entries
Listed in the overview above is all of the competition entries you can expect to receive this month. We will send details on how to enter / an entry payment link to you all individually. Please take note of the close dates and get your entries in as early as possible.
State Championships and National Championship entries are both due this month. These are very important entries so please review carefully and make sure your entry is in on time. We have quite a few dancers competing at these events this year and we will not be able to chase people for information.
